Welcome to the Jolly Roger Taproom's Chef's List. Chef Dave Miller II has incorporated Maritime Pacific's fine ales and lagers into our menus for intriguing combinations of food and beverage.  We are now open for both Lunch and Dinner, seven days a week. Come by for a fresh pint and a good meal at one of Seattle's newest and best-kept secrets: the Jolly Roger Taproom at Maritime Pacific Brewing Company!





The Jolly Roger Taproom is now open for LUNCH and DINNER. Lunch served from 11:00AM to 3PM, Dinner served 5PM to 9PM(Mon-Wed) and 5PM to 10PM (Thurs-Sat) The lunch menu is available open to close on Sundays! Lunch Specials as of 01/6/12 and  Dinner Menu  below... 01/13/12.

LUNCH MENU

"LITE GRUBBIN'..."
Smoked Jalapeno Caesar

Suggested beers:  Imperial Pale or Old Seattle Lager
Crisp romaine tossed with queso cotija, ancho tortilla croutons, and house made smoked jalapeno vinaigrette.

 Organic Field Greens Salad
Suggested beers: Nightwatch Dark Amber or Islander Pale
Fresh organic field greens tossed with our house-made green apple-champagne vinaigrette, local goat cheese and oven dried cranberries.

Add Grilled Chicken to one of the salads above

Lil' Jolly Combo
Two of our bite-size little burgers made from fresh ground beef, lightly seasoned and served on our own Lil' Jolly buns.

Lil' Jolly Royal Combo
above but these are further enhanced with grill
Same two bite-size little burgers as in the Lil' Jolly Combo ed smoked onions and American cheese.

Lil' Veggie Combo
Two of our bite size little veggie burgers, served on our own Lil' Jolly buns with your choice of fresh cut seasoned fries or Caesar salad.

Lil' Veggie Royal Combo
Same two bite size little veggie burgers topped with grilled smoked onions and American cheese served on our own little Jolly buns with your choice of fresh cut seasoned fries or Caesar salad.

(All Lil' Jollys and Lil' Jolly Royals come with choice of Sauces:  1) Jolly Roger Habanero BBQ, 2) Nightwatch Stone-ground Mustard, 3)Chimichurri Aioli, or 4)Rum Jolly BBQ.)

Lil' Mahi Combo
Two of our bite-sized little fish sandwiches made with fresh Mahi-Mahi, pan seared and served on our Lil' Jolly buns with roasted jalapeno tartar and shredded Savoy cabbage.

Po' Lil' Oyster Combo
We serve two of these guys just like the Mahi's above but we use fresh Puget Sound Oysters which are lightly breaded then pan fried to a golden brown.  Unique and delicious.

Additional Beverages offered include Sparkling Water, Soda, Lemonade,  Iced Tea, and Coffee.

Smoked Chicken & Bean Soup
House-smoked chicken breast, white bean and bacon.

Sandwiches & More

Chicken Parm Sandwich
Pan roasted herb and parmesan cheese encrusted chicken breast topped with spicy cappicola and fresh mozzarella. Served on a Panino roll with house-made Bolognese sauce.

Al Pastor Chimichanga
Slow roasted pork, black beans, potatoes and Queso Fresco rolled in a deep fried flour tortilla. Finished with pico de gallo and cilantro-habanero cream.

Haystack Philly
Shaved rib eye sauteed with sweet onions, button mushrooms and smoked provolone cheese. Tucked into a rustic grinder roll then topped with crispy hash browns and spicy tamarind ketchup.

Double Decker "Phatty" Melt
Two fresh ground beef patties fire grilled then topped with our three-onion confit, Swiss cheese, and a layer of house-made pepper bacon mac & cheese. Served between three slices of grilled rye bread.

Monsieur Steak Sandwich
Pan seared tri-tip steak topped with shaved ham, roasted tomatoes and Muenster/Swiss cheese. Served on a baguette with horseradish and herb aioli.  

Chicken Fried Steak
Pan fried Southern style breaded beef cutlet served atop a giant buttermilk biscuit and covered with roasted sweet pepper gravy.

All of our sandwiches are large and served A la Carte.
Add a side of fresh cut house fries for $1.00
Add a side of any of our house-made salads for $1.50

(Monday thru Friday 3pm-6pm)

Clams & Mussels:             $4.50
Fresh local Penn Cove Mussels and clams prepared in styles inspired by flavors from fresh local ingredients. Ask your server for current preparation style.

Buffalo Clam Strips:             $3.95

Deep fried clam strips tossed in our Buffalo style sauce served with blue cheese dip.

Small Field Greens Salad:           $3.95
Fresh organic field greens tossed with our house-made green apple-champagne vinaigrette, local goat cheese and oven dried cranberries.

Pan Fried Oysters:              $3.25
Fresh local oysters, lightly breaded and pan fried. Served with chiffonade Savoy cabbage and Jalapeno tartar sauce.

Habanero Garlic Fries:            $3.00
House cut fries tossed in garlic and habanero dust served with horseradish ketchup.

Smokers:                      $3.25
Hand-cut, wood smoked onion rings battered in our Jolly Roger Ale with roasted jalapeno tarter,

Small House Caesar Salad: $3.95
Crisp romaine tossed with queso cotija, ancho tortilla croutons, and house made smoked jalapeno vinaigrette. (contains raw egg)

Fried Pickle

Suggested beers:  Clipper Gold Hefeweizen or Flagship Red
Spicy dill pickle lightly breaded and fried crisp. Accompanied by our house-made dark ale mustard.

Jolly Roger Planks - small or large
Suggested beers:  Nightwatch Dark Amber or Islander Pale
Fresh cut fries tossed with sea salt, fresh herbs, and a hint of malt vinegar.

Smokers - small or large
Suggested beers:  Old Seattle Lager or Portage Bay Pilsener
Hand-cut onion rings smoked with apple wood and hops, double breaded and fried. Served with a roasted jalapeno tartar sauce.

Beer Batter Bacon
Suggested beers: Jolly Roger Christmas Ale or Nightwatch Dark Amber.
Pepper bacon dipped in a dark amber and ghost chili batter and fried crisp. Served with maple-chive aioli.

Clams and Mussels
Suggested beers: Islander Pale Ale or Imperial I.P.A.
Fresh local Penn Cove mussels and clams prepared in styles inspired by flavors from fresh local ingredients and from around the world. Ask your server for current preparation style.

Lil' Jollys
Suggested beers: Bosun's Black Porter or Dry-h
opped Islander Pale.
The original slider made with fresh ground beef. Served on our custom bun with your choice of one of our house made sauses.

Double Jollys
For those who want to double up on the meat.

Lil' Veggie
Vegan slider made with black beans, hominy, onions,garlic, and spices. Served on our custom bun with your choice of one of our house-made sauces.

Lil' Veggie Royal
Same as the Lil' Veggie, but we top it with smoked grilled onions and American cheese.

Lil' Jolly Royals
Suggested beers:  Imperial IPA or Old Seatle Lager
Same as our bite-size burgers above but these come further enhanced with grilled smoked onions and American cheese.

Double Royals
Double up on the meat, cheese, and smoke onions.

(Note:  All Lil' Jollys and Lil' Jolly Royals come with choice of Sauces:  1) Jolly Roger Habanero BBQ, 2) Nightwatch Stone-ground Mustard, 3)Chimichurri aioli, or 4) Jolly Rum BBQ.)

Lil' Mahi's
Suggested beers:Nightwatch Dark Amber or Flagship Alt
Our bite-size little fish sandwich made with fresh Mahi-Mahi, pan seared and served on our Lil' Jolly bun with our roasted jalapeno tartar and shredded Savoy cabbage.

Suggested Beers: Dry-hopped Islander Pale or Clipper Gold Hefeweizen.

DINNER MENU  
(Our Dinner Entree Menu, served from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.(Mon-Wed) and 5:00 to 10:00p.m.(Thurs-Sat), changes every few weeks.  Below are our current offerings...)

-Starters-

Shrimp 'n' Grits
Shrimp marinated in a Southern style chimichurri then flame broiled and served over house-made bacon and white cheddar grits.

Steamed Dumplings
Hand-made crescent shaped dumplings stuffed with minced shrimp, green onion, water chestnut and glass noodles seasoned with sesame oil and rice wine. Served with a caramelized leek-red miso glaze.

"Clambake" Clams and Mussels
Fresh local Penn Cove clams and mussels prepared in classic Old Bay stock with kielbasa, bacon, baby red potatoes, and corn on the cob, then finished with butter.

Smoked Jalapeno Caesar Dinner Salad    
Fresh Romaine, Smoked Jalapeno Dressing, queso cotija, ancho tortilla chips. (raw egg in dressing)

Organic Spinach Dinner Salad
Fresh organic spinach tossed in warm Jolly Roger tomato-balsamic vinaigrette with sliced button mushrooms, peppered bacon, fresh mozzarella and hard boiled eggs.

                                  -Entrees-

Cassoulet de Poisson*    

A classic style of pan seared steelhead fillet served on a cassoulet of white beans, fresh vegetables and grilled sausage simmered in a savory fish stock.

Top Sirloin Au Poivre *    
Baseball cut sirloin wrapped in pepper bacon, topped with fresh buttermilk blue cheese, roasted shallot and green peppercorn-Nightwatch demi-glace. Served with roasted baby red potatoes and fresh green beans sauteed and finished in a roasted garlic beurre blanc.

Lobster Bisque with Pan Seared Scallops*    
A rich and velvety smooth bisque made from lobster, cognac and cream, served with pan seared scallops and finished with a tarragon beurre noisette.

Lamb Tenderloin *    
Lamb tenderloin pan seared, topped with Nightwatch Dark Ale cream, and served with porter-caramelized crab apple compote, herbed potato gratin and sauteed green beans in browned garlic butter.

Mumbai Pork*    
Slow roasted East Indian marinated pork finished with cilantro yogurt and accompanied by pickled onions. Served with a cardamom currant rice and sauteed green beans in browned garlic butter.

Chicken Marsala*     
Medallions of sage-rubbed chicken, pan roasted with thin slices of prosciutto and morel mushrooms then sauced with a rich Marsala cream. Served with smoked hominy polenta and fresh green beans sauteed and finished in a roasted garlic beurre blanc.

Garlic Black Bean Vegetables on Fried Rice
Sauteed fresh vegetables in a house-made garlic black bean sauce served on our vegetable fried rice. (ask your server for details.)
